I researched digital photographer Ken Rockwell, and I was very interested in his work. He goes all around the world, and takes pictures, which is something I admire.

Spring Pictures-channel mixer
The channel mixer adjustment was used to change the reds, greens, and blues, in these spring pictures. The main object's color really was brought out. After the channel mixer there is a choice whether to show the effect on the whole picture or not. I wanted to only show the effect on the main object.

Collage
A collage artist was replicated in order to do this project. The collage required cutting out objects, with the quick selection tool, and just putting things together. However, my collage was more of a photo montage. The artist meant for the montages to look Spring like, and the backgrounds were meant to look fake. I took most of the pictures in my collage.
Light
The first light picture was pretty hard to make, but it turned out really cool. The pen tool was used to create the design of the light. This project required starting with one curve and duplicating it many times. Then adding color.
With the second light image, i followed a tutorial and actually made a sparkle trail to put on an image.

Warm and Cool Adjustments
Shadow Picture
In this picture, a background and a person were put on one layer. The purpose was to have the person's shadow showing. I took a picture from the internet, and selected just the body from the picture. Then, I copy and pasted the body on to the background. The body was selected again, and copied do that there would be two of them. One of which would be the shadow. The copied body was colored in with black. It was then dimmed as much as it needed to be for the shadow, and placed underneath the original body.

Portraits
There were 3 different types of editing going on with portraits. One, was the ink sketch. The photocopy filter was used for this picture, which made the picture look like a sketch. Also, this pictured was sharpened alot. Textures were revealed with the blending mode. The second type of this kind of photography is cross processing. It makes the picture look older than what it really is. The red, green, and blue channel curves were changed here. The last type of portrait photography is custom shape, which made the picture look more like a shadow.
