Aperture-Depth of Field
Aperture means "an opening". Depth of field is the region of a photo that is focused when the image is captured. If the depth of field is short, with an aperture of 3.5 to about 7. The image won't be in entire focus. With a long depth of field, having an aperture of about 11-25, the image is more focused.

Found Objects
The found objects were supposed to be things that you might not always notice. My found objects were random things in a backyard, such as toy shovels, and I also found a can. For all these images but one, I did a color splash, so that the viewers eye would go straight to the object. Before I did anything in Photoshop, I edited all of the pictures in camera raw. I increased the contrast and clarity in all of them. I used the dodge tool for one of the images.

Five Edited Images
This is one of my favorite images. I made it black and white in Photoshop, and then edited it in Bridge. I increased the fill light so that the image wouldn't appear so dark.
Panoramic
A panoramic is combining multiple images into one image. You can shoot a 180 or 360 degree panorama. Mine was a 360 degree shot. To combine about 20 images together, I used photomerge, a program in photoshop. Then, I cloned some of the grass to make the whole image look the same, and to make the lines go the same direction. I also had to adjust the exposure, so that the whole panoramic looked the same. I used the dodging tool to make pieces of the image lighter, and blend in with the the rest.

Vinatge Picture
For this image, I added a warming filter, then added a Gaussian blur, and added noise, which gave the picture a grainy effect. I selected around the man with the rectangular marquee tool, and set the feather radius to 40 pixels, clicked inverse , then filled the selection with black. I then lowered the opacity to give it the dodged look.

CD Jacket
I took a picture of myself, and used it as the front cover. On the back cover, I arranged three of my many assignments. My Spring Break Scrapbook assignment, splash of color, and words and brushes assignments. These images are not on the CD, but I wanted them to be seen as well. I also added some text, for a title.

Birth of Venus
The Birth of Venus painting, was painted during the Italian Renaissance, by Botticelli. I learned several new techniques during this project. One being the actions. The actions were used to create the meshes. I had never used the action tool in photoshop before. I also learned how to use the variations. They gave the image a cool look by differing the look of parts of the image.

Words and Brushes
For this assignment, I downloaded some city brushes and some paint splatter brushed from, www.myphotoshopbrushes.com/brushes. For the first picture, I flipped one of the brushes, so that it looked like a reflection. I used the words "la f oi", which mean "faith" in French. For the second assignment, I used the word ambition, and put the brushes at different angles.

Claymation
My group and I took 194 different pictures for this project. Every move we wanted our clay object to make, we had to take a picture. This project was interesting. After all of the pictures were taken, and edited in camera raw, we put them into Windows Movie Maker.
